I met my wife and her friend for a quick late lunch, and while the entire menu looked amazing, I was craving something simple—just a classic pepperoni pizza. Wow, was I in for a surprise! The “simple” pepperoni pizza was anything but simple—absolutely delicious, with a perfect crust, flavorful sauce, and high-quality toppings. On top of the fantastic food, our server Daniela was incredible—attentive, friendly, and made the whole experience even better. A big thank you to her! I had never been to Fred’s before, but because of her great service, I’ll definitely be making this a regular spot. Looking forward to trying more from the menu next time! ”

The service was great overall, and very accommodating, from hostess to waitress and everyone in between. “ Make a reservation! Friday evening was easy going at our 5pm reservation but it got really busy by the time we left at 7pm. The cookery was excellent. We especially loved the the lamb ragu rigatoni and the mushroom pizza. I think the price reflects the value, quality, and the beautiful view of Ambleside. Excellent service. Food took some time to come out the kitchen but for a Friday evening, the kitchen crew delivered splendidly. We will be back to try the hanger steak next time! ”
